Once again Dominique visited the Baltimore Ronald McDonald House on June 20, 2022. Everyone looks forward to Dominique’s visit!
Dominique spent 11 days at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair!
He had his own big stall like the other horses. He had a sign on his door so people knew who he was and a number to call if he was afraid.
I looked in Dominique’s window the first morning. He was still laying down. I knew he felt safe and relaxed. He ate his breakfast of a handful of grain and four baby carrots while I put hay and water in his corral for the day. I also put his cards and autograph cards out on a table so everyone would know what Dominique does. He liked watching everyone!
Every day we saw different things as we would walk to the big shade tree beside his corral. Some days we would see big horses getting ready for a driving class. Dominique saw horses getting a bath just like he did. Everyone would say, “Good Morning Dominique!”
On the way to his corral, Dominique walked by other barns, the schooling ring where horses were getting ready to show, and past the rides.
Making Friends and Creating Smiles
Dominique had no idea how many friends he would meet at Devon! Young and old alike fell in love with the friendly little horse. Many of the children enjoyed grooming him.
I like ice cream too!
Smile for the Camera!
He was a great ambassador for Dominique’s Smiles and lots of people learned about his mission to bring love and smiles to children and adults in hospitals, nursing facilities, Ronald McDonald Houses, schools, and private homes.
Wanna play with me?
Dominique also had a lot of dog visitors. He greeted each one and was a true gentleman!
It is always a pleasure to visit the students at Spring Forge Intermediate School. They always ask such good questions!
Daryle, the barn cat, always waits to greet Dominique and hear all about his visit!
Dominique’s quiet presence makes even the most shy child willing to pet him! As usual, every student gets a mini plush Dominique to take home to remember his visit.

Once more Dominique was a success at the Baltimore Ronald McDonald House on May 4, 2022. By the time he left, everyone was smiling and hugging their little Dominiques as they said goodbye. They dream about a real little horse who came just to see them!

On February 12, 2022, The Mill of Red Lion hosted a Valentine’s Day Event and Dominique was the star of the show. Fans came from all around to shower Dominique with lots of hugs and kisses. Young and old alike were happy to give him some Valentine’s Day love!

Dominique visited the children at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden, NJ on December 9th. Everyone had such a good time! Dominique brought so much happiness, love and smiles, as all these photos show. We almost missed the little girl and her mother in the last picture. They were just coming as we were leaving.
